Day and night 4 of the Trek to the Ciudad Perdida

-A rock-map in the Lost City
-Diego and Olivier enjoying a waterfall.
-Me, with the Lost City behind me. These platforms were bases for homes.
-A water-carved rock in the river.
-Me on a throne. Not a Buddhist throne, just your average throne made of rock.
-Diego, Yvonne, Drouyn, and me with one of the guards of the Lost City. These guys are stationed there for 4 to 5 months at a time. I think they enjoy having new people to talk to, even if they´re just a bunch of gringos.
-A massive toad.
-The ¨kitchen¨ at the place we slept for 2 nights.
-Yvonne, me, and Diego by candlelight.
-The crew at the table relaxing at night. This is what most nights consisted of: playing cards and scratching bug bites.
-Some examples of said bug bites. My leg is not here, as I was one of the luckier ones. The photo is disgusting so I apologize, but you just can´t describe the extent of the work of these mosquitoes and flies. We all looked diseased.
-Yvonne demonstrating the last stages of euchre (it´s a card game, for you non-midwesterners). The barn door is open? Something like that.
